We are thrilled to unveil our new sports uniform that has arrived and will be issued to sports teams this term onwards. With the introduction of the new uniform we will be implementing a more stringent sports uniform policy. Please take a moment to read over the following details: Our new sports uniform represents more than just a change in attire, it embodies our dedication to instilling pride and unity among students. Its sleek design and standardized look reinforce our high expectations for athletes while eliminating visible signs of inequality. Safety is paramount, as the uniform aids in the identification of students during game and events. Additionally, it serves as a platform for students to express themselves through their accomplishments and contributions to the school community. - Uniforms are issued by the Sports Coordinator at the beginning of each season. Care is taken to ensure uniform is the correct size for each student. - They are to be exclusively worn for representing the school at sports during the season; please refrain from using them for any other purpose. - Upon completion of the season, uniforms must be returned washed, cleaned, and in good condition within one week of your last game. This uniform represents a significant financial investment for the school, with meticulous attention given to ensuring inclusivity for all with a complete size range. We take pride in providing these uniforms to families free of charge and without the need for a bond. Each uniform will assigned to a specific student, with their name recorded alongside the uniform number. Failure to adhere to the sports uniform policy, including failure to return or properly care for the uniform, may result in charges for the full cost of replacement. We had an awesome day at kura today with a visit from Tornado Tarryn from the team at Nanogirl - STEM Activities for Kids Tarryn introduced us to her love of Science to help kick off our terms learning 'Beyond Matter' Science Physical World. We were lucky to have two sessions with Tarryn so that we were all able to be up close and personal. Ask you Tamariki all about it tonight!

WOW WOW WOW $22,414 is more than enough money to build our new set of basket swings. A HUGE thank you to every Tamariki and Whānau who supported our Mathathon. This afternoon, we not only celebrated our top money earners but also recognised our Maths MVPs, chosen by their classroom teacher for the most improved maths in each class. Each of these children chose a new ball to take home. We also celebrated our top 10 children who earned the most money individually, as well as our families of siblings who also were top earners. We also awarded certificates to a large number of children who collected more than $100 individually and gave away hundreds of spot prizes throughout the day and in our assembly. It was undoubtedly a great way to end the term. Once again, thank you for your contribution to this fundraiser. Our Basket Swing has been ordered and is scheduled for installation in the last week of May. A big thanks to Mrs Travers and Miss Rumney for all of their behind-the-scenes efforts, not only with the fundraising but also with the energy and excitement for maths.
